Hey, Jess here!
I am so tired. The last 2 I spent quite a lot of time outside with my boyfriend, walking and having fun and all (which is partly why I wasn't able to post anything...). I even got a blister from walking and I barely ever get one! Fortunately it's not that bad, so I might not even have much trouble with work tonight.
In the evening we just watched some episodes of Modern Family before we went to bed. Now I have to say that I always get tired from watching series or movies when I lie down and quite often I fall asleep before the end. And yesterday I got tired from watching, but definitely not as much as usual. Though I did fall asleep pretty fast, But I also woke up really soon either! I spent almost the whole night tossing around and got only an hour of sleep before the alarm went off.
While I was in the train this morning I had trouble to keep my eyes open at first. But I really had to stay awake a for a little while, because I was with my boyfriend who were to get off the train a few stations before me and I didn't want to be asleep at that moment. So when he got off the train I closed my eyes for a few minutes, but I only fell asleep for just a few seconds. Then someone sat beside me and I was not able to sleep again.
After that I had to take another train and a bus to get home. And all that time I wasn't able to sleep even a little. When I got home, I immediately went to bed, put on a series I'm watching and was ready to catch up some sleep. It's more than 2 hours later now and I still haven't been able to sleep.
Now I have to say that I haven't been sleeping well for a few weeks now. Even now that I'm graduated and the stress is gone, I still have so much trouble sleeping. But I really don't want to start using any pills. I'm way too afraid I will get dependent on them, so it will only be my last option. So for now I will keep on trying the simple things.
That said, a few days ago I bought a new book. I really like this author and I've read quite a lot from her already. To be honest, I was a little surprised to find this book, because I had no idea it existed, But I'm really excited about this new series. (Yes, it's going to be a series, because on the cover it said 'Book one', haha). And to not be mysterious, and mostly annoying, the book I'm talking about at the moment is "The dark Artifices; Lady Midnight" from Cassandra Clare. I have already read the whole "The Mortal Instruments" and "The Infernal Devices" series. I also have "The Bane Chronicles" in pocession, I just haven't read it. And that's not even everything she's written about the shadowhunters =) This means I'll a have a lot to still look forward to when it comes to reading!
