Our paper hearts

Hey, Jess here! Yes, that title was a reference to one of The All American Rejects' songs! But there is a reason for it. (As if I'd ever do anything without a reason, pfff.) The last few days I was a my boyfriend's place. And of course we spent a lot of time outside walking and all that. But the weather was really annoying; it was quite warm, but also very moist. It really was like walking in a tropical climmate and that's very hard on me unfortunately. That's part of the reason we decided to stay a little more inside and work on some pepakura (a.k.a. papercraft) projects. One of the templates This is really awesome to do! But what do you do? Well, maybe the name suggested it, but you work with paper. Maybe origami or something like that comes to mind, but it's a little different. There are gradations in difficulty, but you're always working with templates. Some people are awesome (and skilled) enough to create those templates. But I don't thin

How I found my soulmate

Hey, Jess here! At first I wanted to say that I decided that I won't be posting everyday anymore. Don't get me wrong, I really like doing this, but I'm not satisfied with what I post. It became more important to post daily than to post something good. I can't say how often I will be posting. I just want to write things and be able to like the result myself. I've chosen not to reveal his name, because I don't know if he would be fine with that, so I'll just keep calling him 'my boyfriend (which he is, so I don't see the problem). Right now I am 22 years old and so is he, for now. He is half a year older than me, so he'll be23 years old before me, haha. Pretty soon we will celebrate that we've been together for two and a half years. Woohoo! So this means we started dating when I was almost 20 years old (A little less

Hey, Jess here! So for this one I've used the same technique to decide which god to discus; to play a match of Assault to give me a random god. This time I ended up with the infamous Athena, also known as Pallas Athena which roughly translates to "She who wields the Lance". Marble statue of Athena Athena is the goddess of many things, but most important are war and wisdom. She was a goddess who was worshipped everywhere the Greek had settled. While her brother Ares is all about bloody war, Athena is all about strategic war. But while she is a goddess of war, she prefers wisdom over fighting. This means that she preferred to use wisdom to settle predicaments and only approved fighting for a just cause. Athena was also known as the patron and helper of many Greek heroes. Among the these were the well known Odysseus, Jason, and Heracles. There are multiple stories of how Athena was born. One story tells about how she was born from water. Since everything and e
