Hey, Jess here! So I decided to do another random character design, because I liked how the first one turned out so much. I used the same method for this one as I did with the first (the pieces of paper). Only this time, my boyfriend picked out some pieces of paper. When he read what was written on them, he said to me with a very serious face "You HAVE to do this one". And I have to admit, it took me a while to actually start on this one, partly because I was very busy with exams and all. But when I finally started, I was having so much fun. So the words I got were: "Viking", "Mage" and "Cute". This means I had to draw a cute Viking or mage. When I started sketching, at first I wanted the magic to come from the hands. Hey, Jess here! I am so tired. The last 2 I spent quite a lot of time outside with my boyfriend, walking and having fun and all (which is partly why I wasn't able to post anything...). I even got a blister from walking and I barely ever get one! Fortunately it's not that bad, so I might not even have much trouble with work tonight. In the evening we just watched some episodes of Modern Family before we went to bed. Now I have to say that I always get tired from watching series or movies when I lie down and quite often I fall asleep before the end. And yesterday I got tired from watching, but definitely not as much as usual. Though I did fall asleep pretty fast, But I also woke up really soon either! Hey, Jess here! To fill you in; my parents are on vacation, so me and my brother are taking care of things at home. Because of this, it's nice and quite at home and I really enjoy that. So last sunday evening my boyfriend got here after he was done working. Have I told you we live quite far apart? Well, we do. And usually I got on the train to his place because that is more practical and all. But now that school's done for now, he's been coming over to my place a few times. Hey, Jess here! Have you ever  wondered why there are so many songs about love? Whether they're sad or happy, there are countless of them. Well, I know that I have wondered. And I think I have found an answer that satisfies me. This may sound a little fairytale-ish, but in my opinion love actually gives power. Though, not something as magical power or muscles, but strength within. But sometimes this strength from the inside can turn into actual physical strength. We all know those moments, even if it's just in a movie, when someone goes to great lengths for someone they love. And maybe fairytales aren't such a bad example. Hey, Jess here! A little while ago I did a character design. I got the idea from Draw with Jazza (you can find him on Youtube and he's great!). But instead of using an app or other people's suggestions like he does... and is able to, I made a lot and I mean a LOT of small pieces of paper on which I wrote random words. After I wrote a word on the paper, I folded it and marked it with a color. The color indicated what kind of word it was. For example: yellow was the setting (fantasy, sience-fiction, etc.) and blue was the atribute (sword, book, etc.). After I had done that, I put them all together in a box and randomly picked a few together without having pieces of the same color. This way I got something I thought I was really fun to draw and I know I wouldn't ever have come up with it myself. So the words I had were: "Egyptian", "Unicorn" and "Scars". Today I had the dreaded practical exam (which I've mentioned earlier this week if I remember correctly). I was certain I had completely screwed up the entire thing, but I was wrong. And I can't remember ever being so happy about being wrong. So without any more stalling: I'm graduated!! I'm finally done with school! So for now I will take some time to relax and maybe I will start to sleep a little more. The last few weeks, and especially the last few days, I have barely slept.
